Amelia Scott Barrett, MD is a Stanford-trained neurologist who uses an integrative approach to treat migraines. She teaches patients how to tap into the brain’s innate capacity to heal, which reduces pain and transforms lives. Dr. Barrett’s approach uses evidence-based strategies from conventional medicine and modern neuroscience, as well as ancient yogic traditions. She also uses functional medicine strategies to improve the health of the whole body.
She graduated with Honors in Psychology from Smith College, and then attended the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Dr. Barrett completed her residency training at Stanford University. She is a board-certified Neurologist. She is also a member of the American Holistic Health Association and an RYT-200 Certified Yoga teacher.
She founded Rocky Mountain Neurology, PC in 2003, where she continues to treat patients with headaches. She started Migraine Relief Code in 2018 in order to show people how to reduce their headaches without medications.
Dr. Barrett lives in Denver and has three children in high school and college. She enjoys yoga, cooking, and meeting new people.
