Amelia Scott Barrett, MD is a Stanford-trained neurologist who uses a holistic approach to treat migraines. She teaches patients how to tap into the brain’s innate capacity to heal, which reduces pain and transforms lives. Dr. Barrett’s approach uses evidence-based strategies from ancient yogic traditions, as well as modern neuroscience.
She graduated with Honors in Psychology from Smith College, and then attended the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Dr. Barrett completed her residency training at Stanford University. She is a board-certified Neurologist. She is also a member of the American Holistic Health Association.
She founded Rocky Mountain Neurology, PC in 2003, where she continues to see patients with headaches. She evolved to a holistic focus in 2015, and then started Migraine Relief Code in 2019 in order to help more patients with migraines learn holistic tools to reduce their migraines.
Dr. Barrett lives in Denver and has three children in high school and college. She enjoys yoga, cooking, and meeting new people.
